GIF is an acronym for Graphics Interchange Format. GIF is a system that compresses any digital image in the LZW system. GIF is an image format. It was created in 1986 by Steve Willhite, a software writer from the United States. He actually wanted to figure out a way to create small file size animated images. A gif file is a type of file that automatically moves like a video without any help from anyone.
